Ecclesfield litter pick

First we found this...                 and this...

and lots of other problem areas, but then we extracted this...

which left ...                             and a satisfied customer...

so we gave ourself a pat on the back...

We thank the Councillors, members of St. Mary's Church, and all others who helped pick litter. Thanks also to Sheffield City Council Streetforce who provided the equipment, and Tony Andrews and the "Public Rights of way Unit", for clearing the Ladycroft footpath.

The litter pick was organised by the "Ecclesfield Village Plan Group" as part of the "Ecclesfield Action Plan". It was included in the plan after "More litter bins", "Control of fly tipping", or "Improving green spaces" was selected as top priority by 45% of the adults represented by our questionnaire returns.
